Welcome to the GCF Youth Department homepage.
2010 has been full of exciting changes, the most recent of which is the acquiring of our new classrooms. We now have our own private space, which allows us to create a small, comfortable, group atmosphere where the kids can freely express their own style while learning God’s Word.
We have separate classrooms for our middle and high school classes, with more room to grow. Access to the classrooms is controlled so it is a safe place for your kids.
The many talented young people in our groups encourages us to plan and start a youth worship team. In the interim, we will begin having our own worship service where the kids can praise God in a more contemporary style.
All curriculum is based on the Word of God in a language that is fresh and applicable to the daily challenges our teenagers face.
My personal vision is to not only increase the size of our youth department, but also to raise up the next generation of warriors for the Kingdom of God, and provide them with the tools they need to fight and win the battle.
Our planned activities for 2011 include:
* Acquire the Fire – April 15-16
* A lock-in during the summer vacation. What is this? We will be happy to share with you. Just ask us!
* Rock the Universe in the fall.
